"While Atlantic Storm is not a sequel to Titan: The Arena, it does employ features that helped make Titan such a great success," Ed Weiss, director of marketing for Avalon Hill, told Skirmisher. "Game play is fast, it uses strategy and luck and lots of the game's fun comes from negotiating with your opponents. We think Atlantic Storm will have a broad appeal, reaching military history gamers and card-playing audiences as well." And if Atlantic Storm follows the same path that Titan has, it will be doing pretty well. "We were pretty excited when Inquest magazine awarded Titan: The Arena its highest rating of 6," says Ed. "Only five other games have received this accolade in the magazine's history. I've just learned that in a reader poll, the game was selected as the best non-collectible card game of 1997 by garnering over 46% of the vote in its category."
