Question About Slivers Question: "Ok, you know slivers? (a type of creature in Magic: The Gathering.) You know Crystalline Sliver? Well if you have that out, won't it cancel out the abilities given to the slivers by the other slivers? Because it says that slivers can't be the target of spells or abilities."
Answer: Most of the abilities given to slivers by slivers are global; they simply affect all slivers in play. We are not familiar with any that TARGET other slivers, which is what the Crystalline Sliver's ability protects against. Thus, the benefits of say, a Muscle Sliver, would still apply to all slivers in play, because it does not actually target any of them. |
