Michael O. Varhola
Michael O. Varhola is a writer who has authored or co-authored 34 books and games — including Ghosthunting San Antonio, Austin, and Texas Hill Country, the swords-and-sorcery novel Swords of Kos: Necropolis, and two fantasy writers guides — and who has published more than 120 games and related publications. He is the founder of game company Skirmisher Publishing LLC (http://skirmisher.com), editor-in-chief of d-Infinity game magazine (http://d-infinity.net), and editor of the America's Haunted Road Trip series of travel guides. He has edited, published, or written for numerous publications, including The New York Times, is a combat veteran who served eight years in the U.S. Army, and lives in the Hill Country north of San Antonio, Texas. He also has an active online presence, notably through Facebook (http://facebook.com/michael.varhola) and a variety of other blogs, forums, and sites.
Brendan Cass is an IT professional, web scientist, and game developer. He is a principle of Skirmisher Publishing LLC, developer and designer for the Little Orc Wars video and miniatures game franchise, coauthor of the Swords of Kos fantasy campaign setting, and resident 3D printing wizard. He is currently in development with the Swords of Infinity universal role-playing game system, the "To Rule in Hell" board game, and many, many, web projects.
Skirmisher’s Vice President for Business Development is a 28 year Army veteran who retired as a Colonel in 2013. Ollie was deployed around the world during his career, to include Iraq and Afghanistan. Ollie continues to serve his country as a diplomat currently stationed in Mexico. Ollie began gaming in 1980/81 during the birth of table top fantasy gaming. Ollie joined the Skirmisher team from its inception in 2001, and also is also the author of "USSMC FM 7-22: Space Boarding Operations".
William T. Thrasher
William T. Thrasher is an author, illustrator, and game designer living in the state capital of Frankfort, Kentucky. He has written for Fantasy Flight Games (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com), Paizo Publishing (http://paizo.com), and currently writes and illustrates for Skirmisher Publishing LLC (http://skirmisher.com) and is the author of too many Cthulhu Live scenarios to count. He is a co-founder of the legendary live action role-playing troupe Kettle of Fish Productions and is a regular feature at Gen Con, the Origins Game Fair, and Comicpalooza, where he organizes unique gaming events for players of all ages. He is currently hard at work on his first novel. When not writing or drawing, William volunteers at the Franklin County Humane Society.
Chris Van Deelen
Chris Van Deelen is the author of the Skirmisher Publishing LLC sourcebook Creatures of the Tropical Wastes sourcebook and co-author of its Wisdom from the Wastelands post-apocalyptic game supplement. He is also a devout father and family man, a practicing martial artist, and overall one hell of a nerd!
Derek Holland is the author of Mutant Future and Labyrinth Lord material in multiple Skirmisher Publishing LLC publications and co-author of its Wisdom from the Wastelands game supplement.
Jesse Roy is a chemical engineer, game designer, terrible illustrator, and an enthusiastic storyteller. He principally helps with playtesting, able to approach games equally well from a technical standpoint as he is from a enjoyment perspective. Currently, Jesse is developing a tactical tabletop miniatures game, "Price of Glory," as well as the mecha-infused Monday night superslam card game, "TurboBrawl."
