Q: Certain creatures have Power equal to the number of a specific type of monster in play (e.g., "Dauthi Warlord" and "Swarm of Rats"). If they are the only such cards of their type in play, is their power 0 or 1?

A: Creatures will always count themselves if they apply to the variable power and/or toughness. "Swarm of Rats," for example, is 1/1 when it is the only creature in play. ("Swarm of Rats," from Portal Second Age, is pictured at right.)
