January, 1998--The continuing story of Dominaria's most powerful planeswalker holds many surprises as Magic: The Gathering enthusiasts learn more about Urza's strategy to prevent the Phyrexian invasion in the latest Magic release--Urza's Legacy. The Urza's Legacy card set, scheduled to debut in February 1999, is the latest limited-edition expansion from adventure games leader Wizards of the Coast Inc.

Urza's counter-offensive plans forge ahead as he builds the last few artifacts of his Legacy and unveils the prized Weatherlight, a powerful flying ship. Urza forms new alliances and encounters powerful new enemies as he sets forth to complete his mission to ultimately save Dominaria. Magic fans will be the first to witness Urza's quest in this expert-level expansion that contains approximately 140 black-bordered cards. The set is highlighted by strategic play variations on new and existing card mechanics led by Magic Developer Henry Stern. Urza's Legacy will also feature the inclusion of limited edition Premium Cards.

Urza's Legacy cards are available in four uniquely themed 60-card preconstructed decks sold at a suggested retail price of $9.99. In addition, the expansion features 15-card randomized booster packs for a suggested retail price of $2.99 each. Available through hobby, game, book, music and toy stores, Urza's Legacy cards can be played with the basic Magic set as well as with large expansions such as the Urza's Saga set. The expansion will be released simultaneously worldwide.
