Les Keffel has a Ph.D. in history and is an instructor at the U.S. Air Force Academy. His articles on military miniatures are drawn from a life-long interest in history, lots of reading and research, contact with other hobbyists, and personal experience. He has contributed to many journals and publications, including Living History magazine.
