The Forge: Out of Chaos Referee Screen is your basic RPG gamemaster's tool. In this case the screen is a large four-panel cardstock foldout with reference materials for Forge printed on the one side for the gamemaster, and, on the other side for the players to stare at, a color painting stretching the full length of the screen, a nice depiction of a stand-off between armies of Good and Evil.

The screen displays basic characteristics for all ten of the non-human races; summaries of Forge rules for vision and light sources, blind fighting, gaze attack evasion, falling, and surprise; a reaction table for encounters; character skill charts and rules for skill advancement; a character statistics chart; a special table of mage character stats, along with magic attack rules; tables for armor, weapons, and combat values; and a chart of the effect of medicinal roots in Juravia.

Also included is a special online resource offer; logging in to the appropriate area of the Basement Games provides free source material about the Pereyshian Empire, the campaign setting for Forge. The special log-on codes unlock additional maps and materials on the people, towns, government and religion from the World of Juravia setting.
