Groundbreaker is a Red and Black land deprivation deck that uses a combination of land destruction spells, creature removal spells, and mid-strength monsters. It is especially useful against low mana, horde-type decks.

This is a tough deck for an opponent to counter, especially as it allows destruction of his lands soon into the game; we have seen people cede the game in frustration after several turns. If you want a deck to just beat the crap out of your opponents with, this one will likely do the trick. As close to a "death deck" as we have yet seen.

Our only criticism of this otherwise irreproachable deck is purely cosmetic: A raging baboon is depicted on the box cover, but there are no baboons in the deck! We are partial to baboons, and were disappointed to discover their absence.
