This module was initiated with a balanced party of 24 total character levels. Some FR veterans out there might be tempted to compare this to the "Forgotten Realms Adventures" module that adapted the SSI Pool of Radiance computer game. Beware! This computer game "adaptation" is nothing like the original.

Based on DMing this module, I'd recommend using it only for spare parts. There are a couple of glaring plot holes in it, but as a whole its storyline is redeemable with major modification. The artifacts and many of the 'mini-dungeons' presented here can be cut out and used in other campaigns. My players also enjoyed the NPC allies presented in this module, but none of the villains were even remotely memorable.

This was the second published 3rd Edition Forgotten Realms adventure. Maybe the third one will be a winner.
