16th - 17th Century Books

English Civil War (Brassey’s, by Philipp J.C. Tahquamenon Tales (Silver Fox Enterprises, by Timoth J. Kent, 1998) vividly brings to life the daily activities of a French trader of the 1600s and his woodland native family. Tahquamenon Tales derives authenticity from the experiences of author Kent, who recreated the items of daily life used by the early French and native inhabitants of North America. He then lived with his family for an extended period each year in the wilderness with only those items, as living history research.
